The North American Tundra hold many natural resources such as Iron, Nickel, Copper, Natural gases, and Oil.
The sources of fresh water vary in between different regions. In Canada, they have many freshwater sources but they are not all suitable to drink.
When needed a fuel sources for heat, there is many pathways to oil which can help produce heat and fire.
The most common threat to your survival is the Polar Bears and the Arctic Fox.
If you need to build shelter, although many people do not tend to live in the Tundra, an igloo is very common and you can build on by using snow and molding it into a dome shape to trap in heat.
If you plan to travel to the Tundra in the summer as the temperature rises and the amount of moisture rises, wildfires and drought are natural disasters you should be prepared for.

One of the only sources NOT safe to drink is the Mackenzie Delta and it is so contaminated it is even killing off the fish in the delta.
Edible Foods
Fish are the most common organism consumed in the Tundra but there are also many plants you can consume like Bearberry, Labrador Tea, Diamond Leaf, and Arctic Moss.
Medical Needs
Rumex- A plant used to be placed over warts or bruised skin.
Iris- When you boil this plant and gargle it, it is used to treat sore throats.
Reindeer Moss- Is used to as a tea and when you drink it, it is used to treat chest pain which is common in the mountain climbers in the Tundra.
